Environments
One of the lovely things about our preschool is the learning environments. Our building has been divided into two rooms: the Possums and Frogs.
Our room names evolved from our friendly inhabitants in the preschool playground. Often children will find frogs hiding in our sand pit to escape the summer heat, and our toy shed used to house a long term possum resident.
The indoor environments have a calming presence, with high ceilings and spacious areas for the children to learn, develop and engage in meaningful play experiences. This contributes to developing their sense of being and belonging.
We are very lucky to have a large, bush setting playground that the children really enjoy exploring.
